Data Engineers, Fibre Engineers & Structured Cabling Managers with UK or EU Passports:

iCobus is recruiting Data Engineers, Fibre Engineers and Structured Cabling Managers with UK or EU Passports to work for periods of time on projects in Europe. Ideally you’ve worked in the UK & Europe in the past, within similar roles.

Skills required:

• On site installation and termination of CAT6 & CAT6A UTP & STP copper and fibre optic cabling & associated containment.
• Associated testing, for both copper and fibre including fault finding and proactive resolution.
• Containment installation skills to include: Steel wire cable tray, metal conduit, plastic conduit and plastic trunking.
• Experienced Installer, working in different environments
• Ensure that all works are carried out to the job sheet specification and company
• Work alongside Project Managers to communicate and discuss how to ensure adherence to project deadlines.
• To read and understand construction drawings and interpret into practical work.
• Reporting back to the Project Manager regarding progress, site delays or issues.
• Attend site briefings and ensure that information and key messages are relayed to the team.
• Solid reputation for being a great Data Cabling Engineer and quick terminator

  Key Attributes for this role:

• You MUST hold a valid UK or EU Passport
• Excellent attention to detail, sound problem solving skills and analytical thinking
• Experience of reading and interpreting construction drawings
• Considerable experience in installation of CAT6 & CAT6A and Fibre cabling
• Can demonstrate excellent customer service skills in a variety of ways including written, verbal, over the phone and face to face
• Good Communicator
• Honest, Trustworthy and Responsible
• Reliable, good time keeping, completing jobs with pride
• Happy to work as part of a team & take instructions
• Worked in UK & Europe before (beneficial)
