Job Description – Field Engineer

Reports to: Client Lead Engineer

Job Purpose

We are needing experienced Data Cabling Engineers to work as Field Engineers.

You will be working alongside the client’s Lead Engineer.

The working environment will be retail and research industry. The role requires you to work normal working hours during the day.

Duties and responsibilities

On site, cat 6A installation, terminating and testing

On site, WAP installation

Fault finding and rectification of any issues

Team player who works well with others and supports Lead Engineer in delivering successful result.

Qualifications/Experience

Over 3 years’ experience working in similar environments

Ability to read drawings

Experience in installation of Cat6A cabling

Excellent understanding of customer facing roles

Experienced at the safe and correct use of ladders and other access equipment
